ABBA Introduces New DNA and Technological Support Coordinator

The American Brahman Breeders Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Allison Hajny as the DNA and Technological Support Coordinator. Allison brings a strong background in cattle reproduction research, genetics, and technological advancements to the association.

Originally from Castroville, Texas, Allison earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Texas A&M University in 2023, followed by a Master of Agriculture in Animal Science in 2024. During her time at Texas A&M, she was actively involved in leadership roles in the Corps of Cadets and a member of the Dairy Challenge Judging Team.

In addition to her academic achievements, Allison has hands-on experience in cattle reproduction research and has served as a teaching assistant for multiple animal science courses. Her expertise in DNA technology, genetic analysis, and industry communication will play a crucial role in advancing ABBA’s mission to support and promote the Brahman breed.

“I am excited to join ABBA as the DNA Coordinator,” said Allison. “This role offers a unique opportunity to support the association’s progress while expanding my knowledge in the field. I look forward to working with breeders and industry professionals to enhance the association’s genetic programs.”

As DNA and Technological Support Coordinator, Allison will oversee genetic testing initiatives, assist breeders with DNA-related inquiries, and advance technological tools to support the Brahman industry.
