ABBA Board of Directors & Committee Meetings
Dear ABBA Members,
Due to the cancellation of the Ft. Worth meeting caused by inclement weather, the following schedule has been set to ensure compliance with the ABBA Constitution, which requires three Board meetings per year. Given the limited time available for preparation and the necessary arrangements for our Annual Membership Meeting in Houston, we have structured the meetings to maximize efficiency while maintaining meaningful discussions.
The Finance and Executive Committee will convene for an in-person meeting the evening before the Board meeting, on Wednesday February 19th. Additionally, all standing committees were given the option to meet either in person or virtually before the Board meeting. To optimize our time and streamline discussions, all committee meetings other than the two mentioned above will be conducted virtually prior to the general Board of Directors session, with committee reports presented during the Board meeting.
This structure allows for thorough discussions while ensuring that Board and general members have the opportunity to return home earlier.
