Armelinda Ibarra, Recording Secretary / Office Manager
A native Houstonian who joined the American Brahman Breeders Association immediately after graduating from Incarnate Word Academy. The Brahman family took “Armie” (aka) in and after 32 years of dedicated and loyal employment continues to be an integral team member of the ABBA.
Her strong work ethic and eager to learn abilities have earned her the renowned position of ABBA Recording Secretary/Office Manager. A position held by only three predecessors since the organization of the ABBA. She not only manages the day to day operational functions and accounting of the association but works very closely with the Executive VP in providing services and various programs to the membership of ABBA. Armie is our liason with the international community developing, implementing and managing ABBA’s international marketing efforts. She is our world ambassador who travels and interacts with high ranking world leaders, government officials, to industry leaders and cattle producers worldwide. The Brahman breed has offered her the opportunity to travel to almost every continent of the world including: Australia, Brazil, Costa Rica, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, South Africa, Thailand and Venezuela. Her warm personality and excellent communication skills have helped her gain respect and recognition worldwide. She is recipient of numerous international awards and special recognitions.
During her time away from ABBA, Armie devotes her time to her husband, three children, grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her close knit family and devotion to the Catholic Church are her driving force to her commitment to live as a positive role model and treat everyone with the utmost respect. She lives by the golden rule: “Do unto others as you would have others do unto you” Mathew 7:12
Teresa Dominguez, Administrative Assistant
Teresa Dominguez is native to Guadalajara, Mexico. At the young age of three, she moved to California where she lived with her family for fourteen years until relocating to Houston, Texas. Teresa willingly admits to missing sunny California, but Houston is where she calls home.
Teresa joined the American Brahman Breeders Association in August of 1995. Serving as the receptionist, she assisted with transfers, registrations, F-1 Certifications, memberships, and pedigrees. A short eight months later, Teresa was promoted to Director of Accounting Assistant. In addition, she has collaborated with the Director of Youth Activities assisting with AJBA Memberships and the All American.
Outside of work, Teresa enjoys spending time with her granddaughter, nieces, and nephews, taking every chance she gets to capture family memories with her camera. Not only does she volunteer herself as the family photographer, she also loves cooking for her family and friends.
