| Herd Inventory Update Needed
Help yourself and ABBA by cleaning up your herd inventory. Take time to go through your records to pull out registrations on cattle you no longer own or have died. Cancel certificates by sending to ABBA to remove from your herd inventory. This could possibly move you into a lower bracket on the activity fee scale, which could save you money - up to $200. An accurate herd inventory can also be used in filing several government programs when an accurate herd count is needed. |

You can use your credit card to pay for ABBA work. This prevents any hold up in work if you incorrectly figure the amount due. American Express, MasterCard or Visa are accepted. We welcome you to keep one of these major credit cards on file. |

REGISTRATIONS AND TRANSFERS TO BE PROCESSED BY ABRA Effective September 1, 2007, the American Breeds Registry Association (ABRA) will be processing all applications for registrations, transfers, duplicates, performance and accounting for ABBA registered cattle and ABBA F1 female certificates. The following is their address and contact information: American Brahman Breeders Association PO Box 14100 Kansas City, MO 64101-4100 Phone: 816-595-2442 Fax: 816-842-6931 Email: abba@abraonline.org The headquarters for ABBA will remain in Houston, Texas where the ABBA staff will be housed. You will continue to be able to visit and contact the ABBA office and staff at the current location of 3003 S. Loop West Suite 520, Houston, Texas. The only change taking place is that all paperwork will be “outsourced” and processed at the Kansas City, MO address. The ABRA staff will also handle questions and/or inquiries regarding the paperwork you submit to be processed. If anyone has any questions or would like to speak to an ABBA staff member, you are welcomed to contact Chris Shivers or Armelinda Ibarra at 713-349-0854. We will be happy to discuss this in further detail and will continue to work closely with the ABBA membership in keeping you informed to help make this transition as smooth as possible. |
